Tim has trained over 1000 consultants, therapists and coaches in his methods, and has found the higher purpose of many organizations around the world. His background includes nearly two decades as a management consultant, executive coach and corporate trainer, offering team building to organizations and leadership training to executives. His clients have included top leaders and executive teams from such companies as Nabisco, ING, Oracle, Lexmark and AOL. Before beginning his career as a consultant, he served as a Development Director at Oracle.
Tim Kelley's book True Purpose: 12 Strategies for Discovering the Difference You Are Meant to Make has become a leading textbook in the field of life purpose. He is also coauthor of three other books.
Tim is the founder of the True Purpose Institute and a co-founder of the nonprofit organization Amoveo Mundi (formerly Global True Purpose). He is certified by Helen Palmer to teach the Ennegram and is a trained Voice Dialogue facilitator.
Tim has commanded military organizations, including an amphibious assault craft unit, and is a retired Naval Reserve officer. He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from MIT.
Tim lives in Berkeley, California with his wife Heather and son Ronan.
